I tried deleting all drivers again but im not even getting that default mouse anymore.im not sure why not. Run Antivirus software to rule out the virus issue. Then, you can go to see whether the mouse cursor appears.

Go to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options and uncheck Hide pointer while typing. however when i restarted my laptop again windows reinstalled a different driver and it broke again. Disconnect and disconnect the mouse to check whether the mouse pointer appears.

Its not a hardware issue- if i uninstalled all drivers and let it use some default one I briefly had a working(though limited) mouse.

I tried restarting my laptop, updating the mouse driver, uninstalling then reinstalling the driver(both the driver windows chooses and one from HP) and none of it worked. I turned on the setting to show the location of the cursor when you press the control key and the flashing indicator does not move in response to the touchpad. Mouse cursor is not showing up on screen and touchpad is unresponsive.
